Philadelphia was a surprise.

Recently I had the pleasure to visit the city that started it all. In fact, Philadelphia has many firsts. For instance, Philly was the first of the thirteen colonies to have a hospital. The Pennsylvania Hospital was found by Dr. Thomas and Benjamin Franklin. This dude (Benjamin Franklin) had his hand in everything.

The highlight of my travel was the University Station, train station. It reminded me of Harry Potter’s platform 9 ¾.

Philadelphia is home to several Museums. This is a city that knows the power of history, and how to preserve it.

Benjamin Franklin's printing press. The inside is wonderfully maintained. Although most structures are not the original pieces.

And I can't forget the liberty bell which is a American symbol of independence.
